Rey Garza flying over a sea-arch off the Western Oregon coast

About

Helicopter Flight Instructor (CFI & CFII) · FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot · Flight Test — Amazon Prime Air

Built a flight school's helicopter program and syllabus from the ground up, to Part 61 and 141 standards.

My name is Rey Garza — helicopter pilot, certificated flight and instrument instructor (CFII), and the creator of RotaryXC. This site is the study material I wished existed when I was going through helicopter training: structured by certificate, written from the cockpit, and indexed the way DPEs actually ask questions.

Reach out for feedback, content suggestions, or training collaboration. The site grows from real-world training experience — if there's a topic you'd like covered in more depth, let me know and it goes on the list.
