What We Collect
RotaryXC is currently a static reference site. We do not maintain user accounts, run analytics that identify individuals, or sell data to third parties.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or phone numbers (unless you contact us directly)
- Cookies or tracking identifiers
- Any financial information — there are no purchases through this site
Data Stored on Your Device
Everything this site remembers about you is kept in your browser's localStorage. That covers more than the logbook:
- Logbook — the flight entries and hours you enter
- ACS progress — your Task self-ratings, per certificate
- Quiz — answers, scores and per-topic statistics
- Flashcards — spaced-repetition scheduling and any cards you add
- Notes — anything you type into the notes widget
- Training plan, study streak, and your light/dark theme choice
All of it:
- Stays on your device — it is never transmitted to RotaryXC or any other server
- Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data
- Is not synced between devices or browsers, and is not visible to an instructor
There are no accounts on this site
rotaryxc.com has no sign-in, no user accounts, and no server-side record of anything you do here. Because there is no account, there is nothing to request, export, or delete from us — clearing your browser's site data is a complete erasure, and we could not identify your data even if you asked us to.
Account and instructor-visible grading features exist in the software and are described on the flight schools page, but they are not running on this site. A licensed school instance that does run them is operated by that school and is covered by that school's own privacy policy, not this one.
Third-Party Content
This site makes no third-party requests. Fonts, styles, and scripts are all served from this site's own domain, so loading a page does not tell any outside company that you were here. There are no trackers, no analytics, and no advertising services.
